Virtual Craft Night 10/29: Make Your Own Zines

This online workshop takes place on Friday, October 29h, from 5-6 PM PDT via Zoom Meeting.  You will receive login instructions via email before the workshop.

Join Illustrator and Ceramic Artist Sarah Duyer for an evening of zine-making!The beauty and fun of zine-making is that zines can be whatever you want them to be! Zines are self-published and self-distributed creations so the possibilities for the design and content are endless.

In this workshop, you will make a super simple 8-page zine from a single sheet of paper. Once you have that basic template you can get creative and fill it with your own drawings or text, then photocopy it and share it with your friends!

Choose from two booking options:

1. Supply your own materials! For this class, you will some paper (8.5 x 11” is most accessible and cheap, and easy to reproduce), scissors or x-acto knife, drawing materials (pens, pencils, markers, etc), and a bone folder or a straight edge.

2. Purchase a supply kit from us that includes:

  • Paper
  • An x-acto knife
  • A Set of 12 Bi-Colored Pencils
