Online Workshop 3/7: Capturing Everyday Objects in Watercolors
This online workshop takes place on Sunday, March 7th, from 11 AM - 1 PM PST via Zoom Meeting. You will receive login instructions before the workshop.
Dive into the basics of watercolor painting and learn how to approach everyday objects as a subject. This workshop will provide a simple watercolor painting method that will enhance your ability with the medium and deepen your creative knowledge.
We will practice blending and shading techniques, color mixing and develop a practice capturing a subject from life. No prior experience necessary!
By the end of the class, you will express yourself creatively with a new technique and have confidence working with animals as subject matter.

You will need a set of watercolors, watercolor paper (any size), some water and watercolor paintbrushes for this workshop.
2. Purchase a watercolor kit from us that includes:
- 6 Watercolor Paint Tubes (5 ml)

About the instructor:
Danny Neece is an Oakland-based illustrator and art educator. He became an artist at a young age and pursued the arts professionally at 18. Danny is also a CCA Alumni and has been working primarily as an art instructor at the Berkeley Art Studio. Besides teaching, Danny focuses much of his creative time as a freelance illustrator and making personal work. His inspiration comes from a variety of places, mostly from long adventures outdoors.
