This online workshop takes place on Tuesday, February 23th, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM PST via Zoom Meeting. You will receive login instructions before the workshop.
This class is a time and space for people of all levels to appreciate and write letters and words like they never have before. With artist Meg Adler's guidance, you will learn lettering techniques and tips. We will immediately put our new drawing skills into practice by creating our own fonts and writing uplifting words. Come ready to loosen up your hand, your sense of “perfection,” and your spirits through good, old fashion, lettering.
We will start with an intro to lettering – revisit the core concepts we learned in elementary school! Then, we will warm-up our hands with some exercises and games. Then, once we’ve learned some techniques, we will work on two pieces – one guided by Meg and one, totally up to you, putting into practice everything you have learned.
Choose between two booking options:
1. Supply your own materials! For this class, you will need paper, a pencil, a pen, and a sharpie. You will also need a sketchbook or some loose paper and a clipboard or hard surface to take with you to draw!
2. Purchase a drawing Kit from us that includes:
