Online Workshop 10/21: Watercolor Fungi
This online workshop is on Thursday, October 21st, from 5 PM -7 PM PDT via Zoom Meeting. You will receive login instructions before the workshop.
Take the exciting step in learning watercolor painting with fungi. This workshop will introduce watercolor painting in a basic approach and gives insight into a process that encourages style and expression. You will learn techniques in blending, shading, color mixing, personal style, spontaneous color effects, and design. Your willingness to explore watercolor painting is the only requirement.
You will have the tools necessary to paint with confidence and style by the end of this workshop.
Choose from two booking options:
1. Supply your own materials: For this class, you will need a set of watercolors, watercolor paper (any size), some water and watercolor paintbrushes for this workshop.
2. Purchase a watercolor kit from us that includes:
- 6 Watercolor Paint Tubes (5 ml)
- 1 Taklon Brush (Round)
- 1 Graphite Pencil
- 1 Eraser
- 1 Sharpener
- 1 Six-well Palette
- 1 Watercolor Paint Artist Pad
- 1 Zippered Carrying Case
About the instructor:
Danny Neece is an Oakland-based illustrator and art educator. He became an artist at a young age and pursued the arts professionally at 18. Danny is also a CCA Alumni and has worked primarily as an art instructor at the Berkeley Art Studio. Besides teaching, Danny focuses much of his creative time as a freelance illustrator and making personal work. His inspiration comes from a variety of places, mostly from long adventures outdoors.
