Learn to sculpt abstract candle holders that will be a statement piece for any dining room table!
In this workshop, we will let loose and explore organic forms through air-dry clay. Participants will start with sketches to think about the negative space and the function of their candle holders. As a group, we will learn sculpting techniques, coil building, and decoration to make unusual and unique candlestick holders.
Each student will leave the class with a sculptural candle holder that can be used to light your home in style. Due to the nature of air-dry clay, the clay needs time to dry before decoration. Therefore your instructor will demonstrate the painting technique and provide you with a takeaway handout to support you after the class.
Choose from two booking options:

You will also need some scratch paper, a pencil to draw out ideas, a container for water, and a towel to keep your hands clean.
