Sashiko, which translates to "little stabs" is an ancient Japanese embroidery technique. With just a simple running stitch, you can decorate and reinforce fabric. 
This pattern cloth is the perfect introduction to sashiko! Each cloth contains two stitch patterns, so you can practice your stitches. Once complete, the design washes away completely, letting your stitches shine!

This cloth is a printed pattern only. We suggest purchasing our sashiko needles, ring thimble, and sashiko thread to complete your sashiko starter kit.
