Viviana Matsuda is a Japanese/Mexican Artist from San Francisco. Her father was a ceramicist and when he passed away, she was left with pottery supplies. She took a ceramics class as a creative outlet to work through her grief, using only her hands to turn earth was therapeutic. She spent hours making all sorts of random forms with no intentions. Some were chubby and had uneven curves. The earth-toned pieces are smooth or ruff, some have freckles and are all so beautiful in their diversity.
