Amanda Peugnet is a Latinx artist living in Oakland, CA. She makes art in a wide range of mediums, including but not limited to oil and acrylic painting, printmaking, cardboard sculptures, and rug tufting. She has been making and selling art since the age of five, when she used to make watercolor paintings and sell them door to door in her neighborhood.
Many of the materials in her artwork are purchased second-hand, donated and/or recycled materials such as cardboard & scrap fabric. She believes it's her duty as an artist to up-cycle and repurpose materials to reduce waste & make things more esthetically pleasing.
